The American Society of Travel Advisors (ASTA) has officially reopened registration for the 2026 River Cruise Expo after negotiating for additional docking spaces, allowing the Expo to grow to 15 river cruise ships. The event had originally sold out in April.

ASTA also announced that both Celebrity Cruises and Trafalgar Tours will make their River Cruise Expo debuts at the supplier trade show.

In addition to more river ships to stay and eat one, and tour, ASTA is expanding its educational content at next year’s Expo. An expanded two-day General Session will focus on selling river cruises. And, from the mainstage, Elizabeth Gilbert, bestselling author of “Eat, Pray, Love,” will deliver a keynote speech.

Capping off the event, ASTA’s senior vice president of business development, Sarah Little, will be honored as godmother of AmaWaterways’ newest ship, AmaSofia, during a special naming ceremony.

The 2026 ASTA River Cruise Expo will take place March 11-15 in Amsterdam. Additional space is limited and interested travel advisors should register quickly.
