Based in Montreal, Canada, Catherine Maisonneuve is an established journalist who specializes in food,  travel and the luxury space. She worked in the hospitality industry for a decade and ran her own blog before joining a trade magazine in 2016, where she covered hotel and restaurant openings in Montreal. With over 10 years of experience covering the travel industry, she is regarded as one of Canada’s leading trade journalists. Catherine joined TravelMarketReport (TMR) full-time in January 2025 to launch TMR Québec and currently serves as its managing editor at TMRQuebec.ca. Her work also appears occasionally in La Presse, AFAR, Elle Magazine, Noovo, among others.

Daniel McCarthy is the Editor-in-Chief and Vice President at Travel Market Report, the parent company of Luxury Travel Report. He is a member of the 2019 FOLIO Rising Class and the winner of the Journalist of the Year Award in 2021 from the American Society of Travel Advisors (ASTA). His previous work has appeared in the Boston Globe, New York Daily News, and more. He is based in Brooklyn, New York.

Laura Ratliff is Luxury Travel Report’s founding editor, joining the team in June 2025. She brings more than a decade of consumer travel media experience to the site, having worked at Condé Nast Traveler, Travel + Leisure, Architectural Digest, TripSavvy, and Bloomberg News. In addition to writing about travel, Laura has also served as an on-air travel expert with appearances on Good Morning America, the Weather Channel, and more. She holds an MA in Journalism from Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at CUNY, and lives in Manhattan with her husband and two dogs.

Melissa Haskin brings over 20 years of experience in the travel industry, including 17 years as a top-producing travel advisor and recent success in travel media sales. Her experience gives her a unique understanding of what both advisors and suppliers need to succeed. Melissa’s love for travel has taken her to more than 45 countries, and she believes in its power to connect people and cultures. She’s also passionate about giving back and regularly supports local communities during her travels.

As Sales Director for Luxury Travel Report, Melissa focuses on growing brand awareness and delivering impactful trade media opportunities for luxury travel suppliers—helping them reach the right audience and tell their stories in meaningful ways.

Stefani Horowitz has been a dedicated professional in the travel industry for over 25 years. She began her career at Travel Agent Magazine, where she developed a deep understanding of the industry’s inner workings. She was later part of the founding team that launched Luxury Travel Advisor, a premier publication catering to the high-end travel market. Stefani later transitioned to a client-facing role as a Luxury Travel Advisor with ProTravel International. She is now excited to bring her experience full circle as she joins the team at Luxury Travel Report.
