Cunard has unveiled the new look to Queen Elizabeth, which has undergone extensive refurbishments ahead of its debut season sailing from Miami and her inaugural Alaska voyages from Seattle.

The 2,000-guest cruise ship was refurbished over a three-week period at Seatrium’s Admiralty Yard in Singapore, which was completed Friday, March 14, 2025.

According to Cunard, the “extensive transformation” updated Queen Elizabeth’s signature spaces, such as the Commodore Club, Queens Room, Garden Lounge, and The Pavilion.

The refit also added a new wellness-focused eatery: The Pavilion Wellness Café, first introduced on Queen Anne last year. The venue serves breakfast, lunch, and daytime dining, with a menu built around plant-based cuisine alongside sustainably sourced meat, fish, and dairy.

The Grills experience also received an update: The Grills suites feature enhanced interiors and exteriors, and the Grills terrace has new furniture.

Finally, the outdoor decks were refreshed to give guests “better opportunities to admire majestic Alaskan glaciers or gorgeous Caribbean vistas,” Cunard said in a release. This includes the addition of more sunshades to the aft deck to accommodate the warmer Caribbean weather.

“As Queen Elizabeth begins this exciting new chapter, we are delighted to offer guests an even more refined experience on board, with beautifully updated spaces that combine classic Cunard style with modern comfort,” said Katie McAlister, president of Cunard.

Queen Elizabeth heads out for its debut Alaska season departing from Seattle on June 12.

For the first time in the iconic cruise line’s history, Cunard will have one of its fleet, Queen Elizabeth, spend a full season in Miami. The dedicated program of roundtrip voyages launches in October, with itineraries ranging from nine to 28 nights.

“With a full season based in Miami for the first time, more guests from the U.S. and around the world can now experience the Caribbean with Cunard’s unique sense of luxury,” added McAlister. “The region remains a favorite for travelers on both sides of the Atlantic, and we can’t wait to welcome guests on board.”
