Giving Joy: Norwegian Cruise Line Once Again Honours Educators
There are some amazing teachers out there. Are there any that you or your clients would really like to single out for praise?

Norwegian is once again celebrating teachers.
There are some amazing teachers out there. Are there any that you or your clients would really like to single out for praise?
In honour of Teacher Appreciation Week (May 5-9, 2025), Norwegian Cruise Line has announced the return of its award-winning Norwegian’s Giving Joy annual recognition program.
Now celebrating its sixth anniversary, the initiative recognizes the extraordinary efforts of educators across Canada and the U.S., and this year will reward 20 teachers with a free cruise and the chance to sail aboard its newest cutting-edge ship, Norwegian Luna, in Spring 2026.
From May 5–31, 2025, the public is invited to nominate outstanding, accredited educators by sharing heartfelt stories about them.

Nominations will be evaluated based on the educators’ lasting impact on the lives of students and their community; being recognized by their peers for their passion and dedication to the world of education; and lastly on their adaptability to overcome challenges and find creative and novel approaches to further the education of their students.
The top 20 teachers, as selected by Norwegian’s Giving Joy panel, will each receive a three- or four-day cruise for two. Among them, three Grand Prize winners will also receive an exclusive invitation to the christening voyage of Norwegian Luna — sailing from Miami next spring.
As part of its ongoing support for educators, NCL also offers a year-round Teacher Cruise Discount, which includes 5% off cruise fares and a $50 onboard credit for teachers and school staff across the U.S. and Canada. Learn more here.
