Delta Air Lines is significantly expanding its international and domestic network from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). The airline is currently the largest global carrier out of LAX by both seats and departures.

Starting June 6, 2026, Delta will launch daily service from Los Angeles to Hong Kong (HKG) using an Airbus A350-900. This aircraft will offer four product experiences: Delta One, Delta Premium Select, Delta Comfort+, and Main Cabin.

The following day, June 7, 2026, the airline will add three daily flights to Chicago O’Hare (ORD), operated by a Boeing 737-800. This service will feature Delta First, Delta Comfort+, and Main Cabin.

These new routes build on Delta’s ongoing growth at LAX, which includes previously announced plans to begin three-times-weekly service from Los Angeles to Melbourne, Australia, in December 2025, also utilizing the new Airbus A350 aircraft. It is now the largest global carrier out of Los Angeles by both seats and departures.
