Unique ‘Missed Flight Lounge’; The Cayman Club Pops Up at JFK

When you’re travelling, there are few things worse than being delayed and not having lounge access to pass the time away. What’s a traveller to do?

Well, if you’re delayed at New York’s JFK Airport, you might want to check out the  The Cayman Club – a first-of-its-kind Missed Flight Lounge.

Cayman Jack,® America’s #1 Margarita brand has created a two day pop-up – what they’re calling a “chilled-out oasis” – at the TWA hotel for two days from July 17 from 3-8pm and July 18 from 9-5pm ET.

Open exclusively for travellers facing cancelled, delayed or missed flights, the lounge swaps gate-side frustrations to give guests ice-cold Cayman Jack Margaritas, elevated bites, spa-style services, and a vibe that says, “vacation mode activated.” No first-class ticket required – travellers can just stop by with proof your flight didn’t go as planned and check in.

“You know how the things you don’t plan end up becoming some of your best memories? That’s the idea behind The Cayman Club,” said Kevin Brady, Vice President of Marketing at Cayman Jack.

“It takes annoying travel hiccups and turns them into excuses to slow down, take a breath, and get into that margarita state of mind – even at the country’s busiest airport.”
