Explora Journeys Unveils Top Suites on Explora I
Ocean Penthouses and Ocean Residences will range from 463 to 1,604 square feet.
Explora Journeys, the brand-new luxury cruise brand from MSC Group, has unveiled details of its Penthouse and Ocean Residence suites. The suites, which range from 463 square feet to 1,604 square feet, are designed to be both opulently comfortable and environmentally friendly.
“Environmental respect and sustainability have been key in design choices, ensuring a balance between the tactile and visual experience of every material used,” said Jason Gelineau, head of product for Explora Journeys. “Eco-friendly details such as refillable bathroom amenities have also been weaved into the suite offering and where feasible, we are sourcing sustainable products including B Corp-certified items.”
Ocean Penthouses
The Ocean Penthouses will range in size from 463 square feet to 732 square feet and feature floor-to-ceiling windows and expansive terraces. Each of the four penthouses will offer a distinctive dining space for four and a large seating area that can be used for entertaining guests or relaxing.
Bedrooms have a walk-in wardrobe and a seated vanity area with Dyson Supersonic hairdryer, while bathrooms will have heated floors. Other amenities include personal binoculars for use onboard, wireless bed-side charging, mini-bar replenished according to guests’ preferences, an espresso machine with bio-degradable pods, a kettle and teapot, and a complimentary personal refillable water bottle for each guest.
Upon embarkation, Ocean Penthouse guests will be welcomed onboard with a chilled bottle of Moet & Chandon Grand Vintage 2015.
Ocean Residences
Each of the four styles of Ocean Residences onboard Explora will range in size from 753 square feet to 1,604 square feet, making them some of the largest suites in the cruise industry. Each residence has a separate living, dining and sleeping area and offers panoramic terraces with a private outdoor whirlpool, dining table and sun loungers.
Each residence also features in-suite fitness equipment by Technogym.
The four residence styles include Cocoon, Cove, Retreat and Serenity. The Cocoon and Serenity Residences feature wrap-around terraces, while Cocoon, Serenity, and Retreat Residences offer a separate bathtub and walk-in shower.
All Ocean Residences are serviced a dedicated team of Residence Hosts, providing 24-hour-a-day butler service.
Ocean Residence guests will be welcomed onboard with a chilled bottle of Dom Pérignon Vintage 2013 upon embarkation.
Explora Journeys previously released details of its entry-level Ocean Suites. Explora I, the first of six planned ships, debuts this July in the U.K.
