For high-end clients looking for a new getaway in paradise, St. Barth’s is adding another luxury property to its roster with the five-star Le Barthélemy Hotel & Spa.

“In St. Barth’s every hotel has a strong–but different–identity, so we believe there is a distinct place for us in this market,” Claire Hillau, director of sales for Le Barthélemy, told Travel Market Report.

Every guest staying at the hotel gets butler-level serviceas well as transfers to and from the airport, babysitting services, guided morning meditation and a local cell phone for use on the island. There if no formal check-in process; instead, check-in is managed at the guests’ convenience. A “chic picnic” offers guests a picnic basket packed with champagne and other treats if they want to spend the day off the property.

A Small Luxury Hotels of the World property, the beachfront hotel has 46 rooms and suites. Most face the beach, and also offer heated plunge pools and outdoor terraces with drop-down screens for privacy.

The highest room category is the La Plage Suites, for couples or families looking for a private beachfront getaway. These suites offer large, first-floor living areas with walk-out access to the beach. Upstairs is a master bedroom featuring an en-suite bathroom with separate soaking tub and shower.

The property includes four dining options, designed by Michelin-starred French chef Guy Martin, and a four-treatment room spa with a blow dry bar, 24-hour fitness center and yoga room. Le Spa is partnered exclusively with renowned skin care brand La Mer, whose products are used by estheticians during treatments.

The property isn’t short on water activities, taking advantage of the crystal blue waters of Grand Cul-de-Sac. Guests can sail, kayak or paddle board, while families with kids can join sand castle contests and treasure hunts to kite-flying.

Rooms start at €610 (about $680) per night. Rates include arrival and departure airport transfers; buffet breakfast; mini bar refreshments; high-speed WiFi; dedicated beach lounge chairs; watersports equipment; and access to Le Spa.
