Why A&K’s Most Expensive Itineraries Have the Highest Repeat Rates

Abercrombie & Kent’s Rami Girgis tells LTR how the company has turned its most expensive product into its most repeat-booked one.

Abercrombie & Kent’s private jet collection has a repeat-booking problem—in the best possible way.

It’s a product that, by any logic, should attract once-in-a-lifetime buyers. Instead, Abercrombie & Kent’s private jet program, split between large-group journeys and intimate small-jet departures, keeps pulling the same clients back.

The luxury tour operator offers two categories: A&K Private Jet Journeys and Small Jet Journeys. The former costs six figures per person, lasts 22 to 26 days, and accommodates up to 50 guests aboard an exclusively chartered Boeing 757, hopping from country to country and continent to continent. The latter is a more intimate offering, priced in the five figures (generally under $50,000 per person), with departures lasting up to 13 days and carrying no more than 16 guests on a privately chartered aircraft.

The evidence is in the bookings. Demand has been strong enough that A&K released its 2027 collection ahead of schedule—and 2026 departures are nearly gone, with just a handful of seats remaining on Around the World with Geoffrey Kent.

Several distinct itineraries are included in the collection each year, offering enough versatility to entice even the most well-traveled clients. Repeat rates remain remarkably high; one 2026 departure, Tropics to the Arctic, was made up entirely of return guests, with around 40% having previously booked a private jet journey. The trip sold out so quickly that 16 guests were on the waitlist.

Rami Girgis, the company’s director of private jet & special interest travel, told Luxury Travel Report that the trips are “addictive” and that the segment is poised for growth.

“We are seeing increased demand for [Private Jet Journeys] in terms of not just itineraries, but the experience,” he explained. “We’re seeing across-the-board demand from our repeat clientele coming back and asking for more trips.”

Curated, Yet Constantly Evolving

Although there is variety across the Private Jet Journeys collection, and A&K is always looking to add fresh, new ideas to the product line, there are a few constants. Guests can expect a seamless travel experience with all expenses covered—fine food, wine, entertainment, and more. Experiences feel private: the groups are split up in the destination so that only a few are touring together, rather than as a large group. And it feels personalized, too. Itineraries offer multiple experiences for guests to choose from, allowing them to tailor their journey to their preferences.

“Guests are treated as individuals,” said Girgis.

When traveling by private jet, guests can see multiple breathtaking regions in one trip, offering the convenience of a leisurely pace that eliminates the awkward pain points of traveling via public airlines. A&K even expedites the customs and security to make travel as seamless as possible.

In the itinerary Africa: Across a Continent by Private Jet 2027, guests visit eight destinations in just 22 days, leaving from London and heading to Tunisia, Kenya, Rwanda, South Africa, Botswana, Benin, and then Morocco. For travelers looking to experience multiple continents in one journey, Wild Wonders: Around the World by Private Jet 2027 begins in Hawaii, then continues to Fiji and Australia, and then crosses into Indonesia and Africa. Along the way, guests visit Mahe Island in the Seychelles, spend time at a private game reserve in South Africa, continue on to Brazil and Costa Rica, and end in Fort Lauderdale.

The itineraries offer travelers world-spanning adventure to far-flung destinations without sacrificing luxury. The A&K team goes to great lengths to ensure the accommodations are comfortable and the food irresistible, even for the most discerning tastes. Throughout the experience, guests are supported by a dedicated team that includes not just a tour director but also a professional photographer to document the trip, dedicated personnel to manage luggage, and a physician on hand in case of medical emergencies.

Every year, Girgis and his team work hard to develop new ideas to continue pushing the envelope of what’s possible in private jet travel—even taking suggestions from past guests and exploring new destinations based on their feedback.

“We always want to come up with new itineraries because of our existing database that want to travel on new journeys, new destinations,” he said.

“Save Up to 100 Hours:” The Biggest Selling Points of Private Jet Travel

Planning such an extraordinary journey is all about logistics, and A&K understands that the devil is in the details. Girgis told LTR that his team inspects locations when designing these itineraries and often prepares properties in more remote regions to bring the experience up to the level his clients expect.

“We work with the local team on upgrading the accommodation. It could be painting an entire lodge, changing light fixtures, changing the bedding, bringing our own housekeeping staff—when I say our own, [that’s] working with the local community to bring a team of housekeeping or an executive chef. It’s a huge undertaking.”

A&K will even ship new toiletries to guests if the ones used at a property are not up to the company’s standards.

“So many places we’ve gone in and just made a complete transformation,” he added. “And guests really enjoy it.”

But for Girgis, the strongest selling point isn’t five-star properties or white-glove service. He argues that the value of these trips is in the efficiency. After all, for affluent travelers, sometimes the most valuable currency isn’t the dollar—it’s time.

“You could save up to 100 hours by taking the trip by private jet. For example, traveling from Cebu to Borneo takes three days. On the private jet, it’s about 50 minutes,” explained Girgis.

The time saved by the convenience of private jet travel, combined with the high level of service and the variety of exclusive experiences included, positions A&K Private Jet Journeys as an excellent value for guests. These aren’t itineraries that guests could easily book as FIT travel.

“When you look at what goes into the trip, it’s a fully inclusive itinerary for 20 to 26 days—that
includes all your meals, great wines, full bar service and cocktails on board the jet, and all of your gratuities,” Girgis said.

“Sometimes, if you were to look at the air component alone to try to repeat some of these itineraries, you’d be looking at $30,000 to over $40,000 in just air tickets, and you’re wasting five days going through airports. We take great pride in the work that we do.”
