Accor is raising the bar for advisor recognition with the launch of the HERA Challenge, a year-long incentive program that will reward 33 top-performing travel advisors with an immersive trip to Colombia in March 2026. Open to members of HERA, the brand’s global loyalty and booking platform for travel professionals, the challenge aims to deepen advisor engagement across Accor’s luxury and lifestyle portfolios.
The hosted experience will begin with a night at Sofitel Legend Santa Clara Cartagena, a restored 17th-century convent set within the city’s UNESCO-listed walls, followed by two nights at the beachfront Sofitel Barú Calablanca Beach Resort, a LEED-certified retreat that blends French elegance with Caribbean warmth.
Designed around both performance and specialization, the challenge features 11 categories. from top overall revenue to brand expertise (Fairmont, Raffles, Ennismore, and others) and destination diversity. It’s meant to encourage breadth, not just volume, encouraging advisors to engage more widely across Accor’s more than 350 luxury addresses.
For advisors, the prize is a rare chance to preview two high-touch properties in a growing luxury market and to bring first-hand knowledge of emerging South American destinations to clients increasingly interested in cultural depth and sustainable travel.
All bookings made with an advisor’s HERA number between Nov. 15, 2024, and Nov. 15, 2025, will count toward eligibility. Winners will be notified in December 2025.
Accor launched HERA in 2023 as a way to modernize its relationship with advisors, offering a streamlined platform with enriched hotel profiles, direct hotel-level support, and point-based rewards redeemable for stays or shopping. For full details and category breakdowns, visit hera.accor.com.
