Global Travel Collection has launched The Exchange, a new invitation-only platform connecting travel advisors looking to grow through acquisitions or partnerships with those considering succession or a future transition out of their businesses.
The new platform is available to GTC’s network of more than 1,500 advisors and is intended to address succession planning within the travel advisor community, particularly for businesses built around long-standing client relationships.
The Exchange serves as the matchmaking component of Legacy in Motion, a growth and succession program GTC introduced in October 2025. While that initiative provides education across growth, partnership and succession tracks, the new platform gives advisors a private space to identify and connect with potential business partners or successors.
“For years, advisors have built businesses around relationships that don’t transfer easily,” said Simon Brooks, senior vice president of advisor success at Global Travel Collection. “The Exchange gives them a considered way to think about what comes next, whether that means growing, partnering or preparing to step back. It’s about protecting the client and the advisor’s work at the same time.”

According to GTC, The Exchange is not a public marketplace. Advisors can participate confidentially and determine when and how they engage with potential matches.
The platform was developed in partnership with Trivium Point Advisory, a multidisciplinary advisory firm specializing in business strategy, tax planning and wealth management. The two companies created a framework intended to help advisors evaluate potential opportunities and consider the financial and personal implications of a business transition.
“Every business transition has strategic, financial and personal implications,” said Ron Pac, managing partner of Trivium Point Advisory. “The strongest outcomes come from evaluating those decisions through multiple perspectives rather than in isolation.”
Pac added that aligning business strategy, tax planning and wealth management can help advisors protect the businesses they have built while creating additional options for the future.
Advisors can access The Exchange online or through their GTC representative.
