Rental Escapes has released its annual list of top villa rentals for 2026, highlighting high-demand private properties across the Caribbean, Europe, and North America, based on 2025 booking data and travel patterns. The Montreal-based luxury villa company manages a global portfolio of more than 5,000 vetted private homes across 70 destinations.

The 2026 list focuses on villas that consistently perform well for more extended stays, group travel, and privacy-driven itineraries, reflecting continued demand for fully staffed private residences with strong location credentials and reliable on-the-ground operations. Categories this year include multigenerational travel, ski access, beachfront settings, private islands, and villas defined by architectural or landscape features.

“The luxury villa market continues to rise each year, and we are excited to share our list of top villa rentals for 2026 as discerning travelers plan for the year ahead,” said Wilie Fernandez, the company’s chief sales and marketing officer.

In the Dominican Republic, Solara at Puntacana Resort & Club is named the top multigenerational villa. The seven-bedroom residence is designed for large family groups, with multiple outdoor living areas, an infinity pool overlooking a pond, and recreational amenities including a fire pit and games areas. The villa includes a full staff, with a chef, butlers, and housekeeping.

For ski travel, Two Cedars in Whistler’s Kadenwood neighborhood leads the list. The seven-bedroom, eight-bathroom home accommodates up to 17 guests and offers true ski-in, ski-out access via private trails. Guests also have use of the private Kadenwood Gondola, which connects directly to Creekside Village. On-site amenities include a home theater, gym, indoor and outdoor hot tubs, an infrared sauna, and additional entertainment spaces.

In Turks and Caicos, Legasea Villa on Long Bay is recognized as the top beachfront property. The six-bedroom villa sits directly on the shoreline, with interior living spaces oriented toward the ocean and multiple indoor–outdoor entertaining areas. A private beachfront setup and dedicated staff support longer stays and group use.

Juanillo 3 in Cap Cana earns recognition for its resort-style pool design. The eight-bedroom villa features a multi-level pool with integrated hot tubs, swim-up seating, and wraparound access connecting the pool to outdoor dining and lounge spaces overlooking the ocean.

The list also includes The Aerial, a private island estate on Buck Island in the British Virgin Islands. The 42-acre property comprises five separate residences and accommodates more than 30 guests, with elevated viewpoints across the Sir Francis Drake Channel and surrounding islands.

In Europe, Villa Giulia in Positano is named for its panoramic views. The six-bedroom hillside property features multiple terraces, two hot tubs, and outdoor dining positioned above the Amalfi Coast.
