Virtuoso has added a heavy hitter to its executive bench, naming seasoned luxury travel marketer Alyssa Bushey as senior vice president of global marketing.

Bushey steps into the role previously held by Helen McCabe-Young, who shifted this summer to lead global products. The transition keeps continuity at the core, while positioning Virtuoso to sharpen its message and deepen its global presence at a moment when luxury consumers continue to seek more meaning, privacy, and personalization from their travels.

Bushey’s résumé spans some of the most recognizable names in high-end hospitality and travel, including Mandarin Oriental Las Vegas, Montage International, Caesars Entertainment, and Baha Mar. She also helped launch Pendry Hotels, giving her firsthand experience with building a modern luxury flag from the ground up. Most recently, she led consultancy Edison 360, working with brands such as Forbes Travel Guide, Hyatt Residential, and Travel + Leisure Co.

At Virtuoso, Bushey will oversee product marketing, content, CRM, paid media, and global brand expansion, including stewardship of the publisher behind Virtuoso, The Magazine. The remit touches both B2B and consumer-facing initiatives, signaling continued investment in storytelling, member agency support, and audience development across regions.

Virtuoso’s scale gives the role meaningful reach. The network now spans over 1,200 locations and more than 2,500 preferred travel partners worldwide, supported by long-standing trade relationships and strong annual sales performance.

Bushey will report to COO Brad Bourland.
