Aurora Expeditions Appoints Global Head of Sales
The Australia-based company’s new head of sales is based in Toronto.
Aurora Expeditions, an Australia-based expedition company, has appointed David Tanguay as its new Global Head of Sales. In his new role, he will be responsible for driving revenue growth in the company’s key markets, including North America. He will work closely with Lisa Bertini, vice president of sales for North America.
Based in Toronto, Tanguay’s appointment reflects the importance of the North American market to Aurora’s future growth plans.
“David’s appointment comes at a pivotal time for Aurora Expeditions – we now have two purpose-built expedition ships, the Greg Mortimer and Sylvia Earle, and we have ambitious plans for our growth,” said Michael Heath, CEO of Aurora Expeditions.
Tanguay joins Aurora after more than 11 years at Quark Expeditions.
