Four Seasons to Open Nine Resorts In 2019
Among the cities getting new Four Seasons are Madrid, Athens, Bangalore, Cabo, Philadelphia, and Napa.

Four Seasons confirmed it will add nine new properties in 2019 its president, worldwide hotel operations, Christian Clerc told journalists attending the International Luxury Travel Mart in Cannes this week.
According to Clerc, Madrid, Athens, Bangalore, Cabo, Philadelphia, and Napa will each get hotels from the luxury brand while Boston will get its second Four Seasons. Next year will also mark a return for the group to Bangkok and Montreal.
Executives also said work is underway to reopen the former Lodge at Koele on Lanai, something which will likely take place in early 2020. That property has been closed since 2015 started a $75 million makeover in June 2017 that will see it return with a spa and wellness concept.
Additionally, Four Seasons has released an art book in conjunction with luxury culture brand Assouline. The oversize coffee table book, which includes paintings from sensational artist Ignasi Monreal, was edited by former Conde Nast Traveler editor Pilar Guzman and includes a quote from a Four Seasons employee for each location highlighted.
Clerc said the idea was while telling the story of the company to underscore that its success was not just about hard product but the people who bring the brand to life for guests. Monreal, who is known for his work with fashion brand Gucci, oversaw all the creative.
