Oceania Cruises is giving travelers—and the advisors who book them—an unusually long planning horizon: the luxury cruise line has opened reservations for its 2028 and 2029 Collection of Voyages, releasing more than 230 itineraries across its global fleet nearly two years earlier than many cruise lines typically open inventory.
The collection includes sailings ranging from seven to 180 days and places particular emphasis on longer stays in port. More than 60 overnight calls are featured across the two seasons, giving guests additional time in destinations such as Copenhagen, Lisbon, Bangkok, Bali, Seville, and Malé.

Among the most notable additions is the debut of inaugural world cruises aboard Oceania Aurelia, the line’s newest small ship, which will carry fewer than 500 guests. The vessel will operate 180-day Around-the-World voyages in both 2028 and 2029, departing from Miami and Los Angeles, respectively, and ending in New York. Oceania Allura will also return to the Mediterranean for a second winter season, with itineraries operating from November through March and calling throughout Greece, Turkey, Italy, and Spain.
The line is also expanding its focus on Japan and Asia. Oceania Riviera will return to Alaska during the summer before repositioning to Asia, where itineraries will feature lesser-visited Japanese ports such as Ishigaki, Miyazaki, and Kagoshima alongside marquee destinations like Tokyo and Osaka. Oceania says these smaller ports are accessible because of the ship’s size, allowing for a more destination-intensive experience.
Across the broader collection, travelers will find extensive programs in Europe, the Caribbean, Australia and New Zealand, Canada and New England, and a series of transoceanic crossings. Europe remains a major focus, with more than 80 Mediterranean itineraries and new Baltic and Scandinavian sailings aboard Aurelia.
