Oceania Cruises is doubling down on its signature focus on food and destinations with the launch of a new lineup of specialty cruises for 2027, pairing port-intensive itineraries with celebrity chefs, television personalities, and the line’s own culinary leadership.

The collection spans the Mediterranean, Baltic, and Japan, with each sailing featuring exclusive programming designed to deepen guests’ understanding of the destinations through cuisine, culture, and local storytelling. Depending on the voyage, guests can expect cooking demonstrations, hosted dinners, tastings, lectures, gala brunches, and select shore excursions alongside the featured hosts.

“Our 2027 specialty cruises represent the pairing of port-rich itineraries with hosts who bring true depth, access and perspective,” said Jason Montague, chief luxury officer of Oceania Cruises. “Each voyage has been created to connect guests more meaningfully with the cultures they’re exploring through experiences that are only available on these specialty sailings.”

The program opens with the 13-day Culinary Luminaries specialty cruise aboard Oceania Vista, sailing from Athens to Rome on June 2, 2027. Executive culinary directors and master chefs of France, Alexis Quaretti and Eric Barale, will lead demonstrations, tastings, and specially designed menus celebrating the culinary traditions of the western Mediterranean.

Television chef Sara Moulton will host a 14-day round-trip Baltic itinerary from London aboard Oceania Marina departing June 8, 2027. Guests can expect culinary demonstrations, exclusive onboard events, and a gala brunch inspired by the region’s cuisine.

In Asia, Claudine Pépin—president of the Jacques Pépin Foundation and daughter of legendary chef Jacques Pépin—will host an 11-day round-trip Japan sailing aboard Oceania Riviera departing on Sept. 30, 2027. Programming will focus on Japanese culinary traditions, with Pépin leading demonstrations, participating in select shore excursions, and hosting a gala brunch.

The collection also includes a 10-day Mediterranean voyage from Trieste to Barcelona aboard the new Oceania Allura departing Nov. 7, 2027. Hosted by television travel personality Samantha Brown, the sailing will feature destination-focused talks and conversations to help guests better understand the history and culture of the ports visited.

Rounding out the season is a 12-day Reunion Cruise aboard the new Oceania Aurelia, departing Trieste for Athens on Dec. 6, 2027. Hosted by Montague and Neli Arias, head of the Oceania Club, the sailing is designed as a year-end celebration for both returning guests and first-time Oceania cruisers, with festive onboard events and destination-focused experiences throughout the Mediterranean.
