Luxury collection Relais & Châteaux has added nine new members to its portfolio. The independent properties – 10 hotels and one restaurant – are located across Europe, Asia and Pacific Ocean, and South America.

“Our association is firmly committed to a sustainable path so as to contribute, through cuisine and hospitality, to building a more humane and united world, in harmony with living things,” said Laurent Gardinier, president of Relais & Châteaux. “It is an honor for me to welcome these nine new members to Relais & Châteaux, properties that share not only our values, but our passion for goodness and beauty.”

The new additions join a portfolio of about 580 hotels and restaurants worldwide, including Relais & Châteaux Hôtel Les Roches in France, Chatham Inn Relais & Châteaux in Cape Cod, and Le Ponant, the first sailing yacht in the portfolio.

Relais & Châteaux Borgo Pignano Florence – Florence, Italy

A former residential estate on 12 acres of Tuscan hillside has been transformed into a paradise of hospitality that is scheduled to open in 2026. The property features 32 guest rooms and suites, plus the five-bedroom Villa la Sosta, which boasts a plunge pool and private gardens.

The hotel is located minutes from Florence’s historic center, offering a tranquil respite from the city with well-landscaped gardens, a vast heated swimming pool, and a spa. It will also have two restaurants: Essenza Restaurant, a gourmet brasserie, and Cedrus Restaurant, offering relaxed, casual cuisine.

Relais & Châteaux Susana Balbo Winemaker’s House & Spa Suites – Mendoza, Argentina

Susana Balbo, Argentina’s first woman winemaker, runs this exclusive property with her daughter, Ana. The seven spa suites, spread across expansive gardens and adorned with an extensive art collection, have soaking tubs, sensory showers, saunas and massage tables. Guests can also immerse themselves in the world of wine with special tastings and food pairings at La VidA restaurant.

“This recognition touches us deeply. It honors a journey of passion, resilience, and a dream rooted in Mendoza,” said Ana Lovaglio Balbo, general manager. “Being welcomed into a community that values authenticity and excellence inspires us to keep creating soulful experiences — grounded in our land, and open to the world.”

Relais & Châteaux Grand Hotel Villa Serbelloni – Bellagio, Italy

Built in 1854, this historic property has been run by the Bucher family for the past four generations. Each of its 116 guest rooms, including 22 suites, are a bit different and exude classical elegance. The property recently opened its new Beach Club on a private beach and also features Spa Luce del Lago, the largest spa around Lake Como, and two Mediterranean restaurants.

“We are proud to stand alongside fellow properties that embody such timeless values, and we look forward to shining among the constellation of exceptional destinations that define Relais & Châteaux,” said Jan Bucher, general manager. “It is a privilege to contribute to this global network of excellence, where each property is a unique expression of culture, tradition, and hospitality at its highest level.”

Relais & Châteaux The Sarvato – Jaipur, India

The Sarvato restaurant is a space where “tradition meets innovation,” says Vishal Nagar, general manager. Chef Sonu Kumar Singh marries the two by reinterpreting ancestral cooking methods, such as slow cooking over the open flame of a sigri grill. The culinary experience all happens at The Royal Palace, where this outdoor, 52-seat restaurant is open only from September to April.

Relais & Châteaux Le Tikehau – Tikehau, French Polynesia

Located a one-hour flight from Tahiti, this property is comprised of over-water bungalows on a lagoon beside pink sand beaches. Thirty bedrooms are spread across nine suites and one villa. Bungalows each have a section of glass floor for guests to observe the lagoon’s marine life. The property features a restaurant serving traditional Polynesian cuisine and offers ancestral massages.

The property aims to give guests an authentic Scottish experience with afternoon tea, a wine cellar, curated collection of malt whiskey, and farm-to table cuisine from Chef John McMahon at the Rhubarb restaurant.

“At Prestonfield, we are passionate about creating truly memorable experiences, exceeding our guests’ expectations and celebrating the very best of Scottish heritage, culture, and cuisine,” said owner James Thomson. “Becoming part of this esteemed family strengthens our commitment to these values and allows us to share the unique spirit of Prestonfield with discerning locals, travelers, and like-minded hosts around the world.”
