Brownell has promoted Margaret Haas Wolf to vice president of agency development, expanding her responsibilities at the agency after five years with the company.

Haas Wolf will assume the newly elevated role in September and join Brownell’s Leadership Team. She currently serves as director of advisor development, where her work has centered on supporting and developing the agency’s advisor community. Her new position will broaden that remit to include the growth and development of the agency as a whole.

Haas Wolf is the daughter of Brownell chairman and CEO Troy Haas and has been closely connected to the company throughout her life. During her five years working at Brownell, she has developed relationships across both its advisor community and internal team.

“With a career rooted in travel and sales, Margaret has spent five years at Brownell building genuine trust with our advisor community and internal team; the kind of trust that reflects what we value most as a company,” Haas said. “Her passion for this business is evident in everything she does, and her perspective means a great deal to me personally.”

Haas Wolf said her focus on advisors will remain central as her responsibilities expand. “I am grateful for the opportunity to take on a broader role within a firm and industry I care so deeply about,” she said. “My focus has always been on supporting our advisors, and I look forward to doing that work at a larger scale.”

The promotion also creates another leadership change within Brownell’s development team: Meaghan Kinkade will become director of advisor development, moving from her work leading the Advisor Success teams. A former Brownell advisor herself, Kinkade will oversee the company’s Hosting, Catalyst, and Startup programs, which support advisors at different stages of building their businesses.

Founded in 1887, Brownell is the first Virtuoso host agency.
