Explora Journeys has introduced Beyond Commission, a new rewards program that gives travel advisors an additional earning opportunity on eligible bookings.
Open exclusively to advisors in the United States, Canada, and Mexico, Beyond Commission provides rewards worth up to 2% of the qualifying journey value. These rewards are paid separately from commission through a virtual gift card.
For the program’s introductory offer, advisors will earn the full 2% reward on eligible new bookings made between Sept. 1 and Oct. 31, 2026. Qualifying sailings include eligible journeys departing in 2026 and Mediterranean itineraries scheduled for the first quarter of 2027.
There is no cap on how much an advisor may earn during the promotional period. To claim a reward, advisors must register an eligible booking online after its deposit has been paid. The virtual gift card will be delivered by email approximately 45 days after the final payment due date, according to Explora Journeys.
“At Explora Journeys, we believe exceptional partnerships deserve exceptional recognition,” said Chris Austin, president of North America for Explora Journeys. “Beyond Commission has been created to recognize their expertise, celebrate their contribution to our continued growth and further strengthen the relationships that are so important to our success.”
The MSC Group luxury cruise brand also plans to introduce commission on Destination Experiences, although it has not yet provided details about rates or timing. Explora said the change is part of a broader effort to create advisor earning opportunities across more portions of a guest’s trip, including pre- and post-journey arrangements and onboard food and beverage experiences.
The launch comes as Explora Journeys continues to expand its fleet. Explora I and Explora II entered service in 2023 and 2024, respectively, while the LNG-powered Explora III launched in July 2026. Explora IV is due to follow in early 2027, with Explora V and Explora VI expected to join the fleet in 2027 and 2028.
