American Airlines’ newest class of seats is now on sale.

The first flights featuring American’s premium Flagship Suites aboard its new Boeing 787-9 aircraft, which American welcomed two of at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) last Tuesday, are now available for booking.

American will debut the suites on the June 5 Flight 2012 from Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD) to Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), and then on Flight 98 from Chicago to London Heathrow Airport (LHR) after it returns from the West Coast.

The plan is for American to offer flights on the new jets from Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) to Heathrow starting Aug. 6; from Philadelphia to Zurich Airport (ZRH) starting Sept. 3; and from Dallas Fort Worth to Brisbane Airport (BNE) starting Oct. 26.

The jets also include 32 Premium Economy seats that feature headrest wings to increase privacy.

The new Flagship Suite includes privacy doors, extra personal space, a wireless charging pad, and chaise lounge seating with an adjustable headrest. Those flying in the suites get access to priority check-in, security, boarding, and baggage handling, along with entry to American’s Flagship Lounge.

Inflight, premium suite guests receive a multicourse meal, premium inflight drinks, premium amenity kits with luxury skincare items, and a duvet blanket and dual-sided pillow.

American plans to add the suites to other jets down the line—all newly delivered 787-9 aircraft, as well as new Airbus A321XLR aircraft and retrofitted Boeing 777-300ERs, will soon feature the new Flagship Suite.
