Beyond Capricorn is broadening its Pan Am-themed portfolio with a new private jet program that retraces the airline’s storied Pacific crossings. “Tracing the Transpacific: A Pan Am Journey by Private Air” will launch April 11, 2026, offering a 20-day round-trip from San Francisco to Tokyo, Siem Reap, Singapore, Darwin, Sydney, Auckland, and Fiji.

The trip follows the success of the operator’s inaugural “Tracing the Transatlantic” itinerary earlier this year, which quickly sold out. Like its predecessor, the Pacific program blends a multitude of stops with a layer of aviation nostalgia, thanks to Beyond Capricorn’s official licensing partnership with Pan American World Airways.

Guests will travel aboard a custom-configured Boeing 767 outfitted with all-business-class seating, a lounge, and a stand-up bar. Overnights include properties with ties to Pan Am’s history, like InterContinental hotels, alongside marquee names like The Peninsula Tokyo and Raffles Singapore. Programming ranges from Hakone Mt. Fuji National Park and Angkor Wat to Australia’s Litchfield National Park and a curated visit to the Sydney Opera House.

“This journey, inspired by the network built across and around the Pacific by Pan Am, has been designed to honor the unmatched legacy of Pan Am in the most respectful way,” said Steve Ridgway, co-founder of Beyond Capricorn.

Pan Am CEO Craig Carter noted the resonance the project has sparked: “To see a Pan Am liveried aircraft back in the air, with the dedication and attention to detail delivered by the expert team at Beyond Capricorn, has filled me with pride. What made it so rewarding was the reactions of not only the guests on the trip but also those at airports, hotels, and special events. Pan Am still means a lot to people of all ages.”

At $94,495 per person (double occupancy), the experience targets a collector-of-moments clientele more interested in narrative and rarity than conventional luxury trappings. Beyond Capricorn has also scheduled a Sept. 16 webinar to walk interested travelers and industry partners through the details of the new program.

With Pan Am’s legacy once again being used as a canvas, the project positions Beyond Capricorn at the intersection of heritage storytelling and high-end private aviation—a niche that continues to find eager audiences well beyond aviation enthusiasts.
