With Greece’s helicopter airline hoper entering its second summer, the company is accelerating efforts to reshape domestic travel—this time with a new Peloponnese route, expanded charter options, and seamless ferry integration.

The Athens-based carrier now connects the capital to Costa Navarino in just 45 minutes, offering a scenic alternative to the typical 3.5-hour drive. Flights start from 636 euros and operate throughout summer, giving travelers quick access to the luxury resort cluster along Messinia’s coast, home to marquee properties like Mandarin Oriental, The Romanos, and W Costa Navarino. The service appeals to clients who prioritize time over cost, especially those combining mainland stays with island visits.

hoper’s scheduled network now spans 16 destinations, including Mykonos, Santorini, Sifnos, and Antiparos. But the real shift is in its private charter expansion: Travelers can now instantly price and book helicopter legs to lesser-served spots like Meteora, Ikaria, and Elounda through the hoper platform. Rates start from 1,200 euros, and the fleet includes Robinson, Bell, Airbus, and Agusta models operated by licensed partners.

Although the service isn’t white-glove, it has been resonating with affluent but time-sensitive travelers—especially those spending between 10,000 and 15,000 euros on a 10-day itinerary. According to hoper’s CCO, Dimitris Kossyfas, the company has seen strong traction from 35–54-year-old clients from the U.S., U.K., and France. While flights are shared (helicopters seat four), middle seats are often reserved for children, and hoper will fly even with just one booked passenger.

For travel advisors, the biggest news may be hoper’s new partnership with Ferryhopper. It allows for hybrid itineraries that combine helicopter segments with ferry travel, unlocking more flexible multi-stop planning. hoper is also working directly with DMCs like Eclectic Greece and consortia such as Fora, offering commission structures that vary by booking channel.

“As Greece’s first helicopter airline, we continue to reshape how travellers explore the islands and mainland,” says CEO Dimitris Memos. “Our mission is to make travel seamless, fast, and accessible, letting people reclaim their time and enjoy the journey itself whether they choose a shared scheduled flight or a private charter service.” Advisors can book directly at flyhoper.com or via select local partners.

For clients who want to bypass crowded ferry terminals and reclaim valuable vacation hours, hoper’s expanding model is a compelling new tool in the luxury advisor’s arsenal.
