Four Seasons has officially entered the maritime space, with its first yacht, Four Seasons I, which embarked on its inaugural voyage on Friday.
The launch coincides with the opening date of the company’s first hotel in 1961. The 207-meter vessel’s inaugural sailing is part of a broader rollout, with 32 voyages planned across 52 sailings in its debut year, covering 130 destinations throughout the Mediterranean, Caribbean, and Bahamas.

Developed in partnership with Marc-Henry Cruise Holdings and built by Italian shipbuilder Fincantieri, Four Seasons I is a purpose-built, all-suite yacht with 95 accommodations. There are no interior cabins, and the layout emphasizes residential-style living, with many suites featuring private terraces and plunge pools. The Funnel Suite is nearly 10,000 square feet at the prow, while the Loft Suite at the aft measures close to 8,000 square feet.
Design work was done by multiple firms, including Tillberg Design of Sweden for interiors, Martin Brudnizki Design Studio for social spaces, and creative direction from Prosper Assouline. The vessel incorporates floor-to-ceiling windows and open-air elements throughout.
Onboard programming includes 11 restaurants and lounges, including Sedna, which will host a rotating Chef-in-Residence series featuring talent from Michelin-starred Four Seasons restaurants. Participating chefs include Christian Le Squer (Paris), Luca Piscazzi (Athens), Guillaume Galliot (Hong Kong), Yoric Tièche (Cap-Ferrat), and Paolo Lavezzini (Florence). Additional venues include Horizon Bar, which integrates a plunge pool and open-air design, and Bar O, a smaller-format cocktail lounge.

Wellness facilities are centered around L’Oceana Spa, which includes a hammam, thermal circuit, cryotherapy, infrared therapy, and hydrotherapy. Programming spans fitness, meditation, and recovery treatments, alongside tailored wellness menus.
The yacht also features a transverse marina that opens on both sides of the vessel, allowing direct sea access for swimming and water sports during designated “Marina Days.” Shore programming is structured around fully customized itineraries rather than pre-set excursions.
“Four Seasons Yachts is a continuation of the pioneering ambition on which Four Seasons was built, and will reflect the same genuine care, service excellence, and exceptional moments we create for guests on land,” said Alejandro Reynal, the president and CEO of Four Seasons.
A second vessel, Four Seasons II, is scheduled to debut in 2027.
