Oceania Cruises has taken delivery of its second Allura-class vessel and the eighth ship in its fleet – the 1,200-passenger Oceania Allura. During the delivery, the line also confirmed two additional Sonata-class vessels.
“Oceania Allura is our most innovative and luxurious ship to date,” said Jason Montague, chief luxury officer of Oceania Cruises. “She represents our bold vision for an entirely new generation of luxury travel experiences. As always, at the heart of this beautiful ship is an extraordinary crew dedicated to providing exceptional cuisine, personalized, intuitive service and immersive enrichment opportunities for our guests.”
Oceania Allura features new menus and dining venues for the line, including the Creperie serving French crêpes, Belgian and bubble waffles, and Italian ice cream sundaes. Many of the new menu items and elements debuting on Allura will also be rolled out across the fleet during the remainder of this year and into early 2026.
The ship also sees the return of the line’s much-loved signature French restaurant, Jacques. The new iteration features refreshed menus that reflect a refined take on French classics. Additionally, a dozen Japanese-Peruvian dishes have joined the menus at the line’s pan-Asian specialty restaurant, Red Ginger.
In the ship’s Grand Dining Room, the menu has more than 270 new recipes, including more than 30 additions to the breakfast menu, with an all-new signature eggs Benedict section.
Oceania Orders More Sonata Class Cruise Ships
At the delivery ceremony in Genoa, Montague announced that two further Sonata Class ships will join the fleet. The vessels, previously ordered as options for Oceania Cruises, have now been confirmed for delivery in 2032 and 2035, respectively.
“I am delighted to confirm we will be adding two more Sonata Class vessels to our fleet. We are proud to continue our legacy of innovation alongside Fincantieri, our shipbuilding partner for close to 20 years. These four Sonata Class ships will herald the next stage in the evolution of the Oceania Cruises brand of exceptional small-ship luxury experiences,” said Montague.
