Saint Kitts and Nevis Launches New Digital Entry System
Travelers to the twin island country must now submit an electronic travel authorization (eTA).

Saint Kitts and Nevis has just launched a new digital entry system that is modernizing the way visitors enter the Caribbean country. Travelers must now submit an electronic travel authorization (eTA) prior to arrival in the sister islands, which form one nation.
The eTA launched on May 26 and “marks a significant milestone in St. Kitts and Nevis’ commitment to digital transformation, strengthening national security, and enhancing the tourism experience,” the government said in news release.
To apply for the eTA, visitors can either download the St. Kitts and Nevis e-Border mobile app or submit a form at knatravelform.kn. This process takes about five minutes and can be completed up to 90 days before travel. Once approved, the authorization will expire in either 90 days or when the traveler’s passport expires.
The Saint Kitts and Nevis government currently charges a $8.50 service fee for the eTA. After Sept. 1, 2025, the service charge will increase to $17. In addition to paying the fee, travelers will need to provide basic travel details and documentation in their application and receive approval before boarding their flight to Saint Kitts and Nevis.
Those who use the mobile app for the eTA are also eligible to use the non-stop Facial Biometric Corridor that became available on June 2.
