Emblems Collection, the boutique luxury arm of Accor, is adding three new Italian addresses to its growing portfolio. The upcoming properties—in Tuscany, Umbria, and Apulia—bring the brand’s global pipeline to seven announced hotels, including previously revealed locations in Greece, Canada, and the U.K.
All three Italian hotels are slated to open mid-2026 and are the result of a new partnership with AG Group, a respected force in Italian hospitality led by Andrea Girolami. Known for its consulting, ownership, and luxury travel divisions, AG Group brings deep local knowledge to the collaboration, ensuring each property is not only distinctive but also deeply rooted in place.

In Siena, the 38-key Palazzo Sozzini Malavolti will debut in a historic residence near Piazza del Campo. The property will feature restored frescoes, hidden gardens, and a serene spa. In Umbria, the former Relais San Clemente will reopen as a 51-key retreat with nine private villas, a consecrated chapel, and expansive wellness offerings set across a 98-acre park. Further south in Apulia, Masseria Furnirussi—set amid Europe’s largest fig orchard—will offer 60 suites, most with private pools, in a tranquil compound designed to evoke traditional Salento architecture.
The new additions represent Emblems Collection’s identity: bespoke luxury, design-forward environments, and immersive local character. The properties are notable for their high-touch aesthetics, but will also greatly appeal to privacy-seeking clients, particularly in Umbria and Apulia, where villa-style accommodations will lend themselves to longer stays.
While still a relatively small brand, Emblems is carving out space in the competitive luxury boutique segment, positioning itself alongside more established players by offering intimacy without sacrificing the backing of a global network. According to Maud Bailly, CEO of Sofitel Legend, Sofitel, MGallery & Emblems, the brand aims to deliver “luxury that is both intimate and exclusive, with a profound sense of space and suspended time.”
Once open, the new properties will bring Emblems’ Italian presence to four locations, alongside the previously announced Hotel Bellevue Cortina d’Ampezzo.
