Known for its design-forward hotels and residences in destinations around the world, including Miami, Los Angeles, and Doha, Mondrian is entering the all-inclusive market for the first time with the launch of Mondrian Cancun All Inclusive, a new luxury lifestyle resort that opened for reservations on June 15.
Located between the Caribbean Sea and Nichupté Lagoon, approximately 15 minutes from Cancun International Airport, the 400-room property marks a new direction for Mondrian by combining its design-led identity with an all-inclusive format centered on culinary experiences, entertainment, and contemporary lifestyle programming.
Positioned as a lifestyle destination, Mondrian Cancun occupies a contemporary high-rise tower with panoramic views of the Caribbean coastline, lagoon, and Cancun skyline. Designed as a social and cultural hub, the resort integrates architecture, dining, entertainment, and immersive guest experiences.
Inspired by the natural landscape and cultural influences of the Riviera Maya, all 400 accommodations embrace a minimalist aesthetic defined by clean architectural lines, neutral materials and indoor-outdoor living. Private balconies and terraces are designed to maximize views and create a seamless connection to the surrounding environment.
Guests seeking a more elevated experience can book Mondrian+, the resort’s premium offering featuring upper-floor accommodations with wraparound terraces, dedicated butler service, private check-in, access to an exclusive rooftop restaurant and pool, enhanced beverage selections and preferred access to the beach club.

Food and beverage will play a central role in the guest experience with 10 dining venues and six bars throughout the resort. Concepts range from Mexican cuisine at Cuyo and Cuyo Ceviche to Japanese offerings at Niko, as well as all-day venues including Sun & Moon, Gallery by Mondrian, and Mondrian Market. Casual dining options also include the Uno Mas food truck.
One of the property’s signature venues is Allegra, which features what the resort says is Cancun’s longest rooftop infinity pool.
Guests of the brand-new Mondrian Cancun will also have access to Bungalow Beach Club, a private beachfront venue located along Cancun’s white-sand shoreline. Accessible via a complimentary shuttle, the beach club combines poolside lounging, dining, and curated experiences that complement the resort’s urban-lifestyle positioning.
The development also marks Mondrian’s first branded residential project in Mexico. Set along the Nichupté Lagoon, the residential component will include 328 one- to three-bedroom residences.
Additional phases of the development are expected to be announced later this year and will include an expanded spa, an upgraded fitness center, a new teens club, and additional culinary concepts, including a signature steakhouse and a Cuban-inspired sunset bar.
The opening comes as Mondrian continues its global expansion, with upcoming properties planned in the Maldives, Bucharest, and Abu Dhabi.
