Air France Will Open Its Largest International Lounge at JFK
The two-level lounge will span more than 29,000 square feet and include dedicated spaces for La Première and Flying Blue Ultimate travelers.

Air France will relocate all of its flights at New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport to the New Terminal One next year, where it will open the largest international lounge in its network.
Spanning more than 2,700 square meters, or roughly 29,000 square feet, the two-level lounge will seat more than 400 guests. Eligible La Première and Business passengers, Flying Blue Elite Plus members, and qualifying travelers flying with KLM and other SkyTeam airlines will have access. (Passengers traveling on Business Light fares will not be eligible.)
Air France is developing the lounge with design agency MARKS Brandimage. The space will feature several dining areas focused on French cuisine, along with a bar serving a selection of French wines and Champagnes. Guests will also find dedicated areas for beauty treatments, relaxation and work, as well as an exclusive section for Flying Blue Ultimate members.
La Première passengers will have access to a separate area within the lounge, including a dining experience created for them by a renowned French chef whose name has not yet been announced. Air France said these travelers will receive a “seamless and personalized airport experience,” from arrival at the terminal through boarding.
The airline currently operates as many as six daily flights between JFK and Paris-Charles de Gaulle during the summer season, including up to four flights aboard Boeing 777-300ER aircraft fitted with the newest La Première cabin. Delta Air Lines, Air France’s transatlantic joint-venture partner, operates another three daily flights on the route. Air France also serves Newark Liberty International Airport with up to two daily flights.
The New Terminal One is part of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey’s $19 billion redevelopment of JFK. Designed as a dedicated international terminal, it will feature naturally lit public areas, updated passenger technology and an expanded selection of retail and dining venues. The terminal’s development consortium includes Ferrovial, JLC Infrastructure, Ullico, and Carlyle.
