Atlas Ocean Voyages will introduce a new Junior Suite designation across three existing stateroom categories in April 2026, pairing the extra space with a newly named “Concierge Collection” of amenities aimed at bridging the gap between standard accommodations and the line’s highest suites. Horizon Deluxe, Veranda Deluxe, and Horizon Staterooms will be reclassified as Junior Suites, offering guests a more refined alternative at a more accessible price point. The change, which will roll out aboard World Navigator on April 2, World Voyager on April 18, and World Traveller on May 9, reflects the line’s ongoing effort to create more defined tiers of comfort while adding exclusive touches that can help advisors upsell without losing value-conscious travelers.

Atlas president and CEO James A. Rodriguez says the goal is to “deliver exceptional value and comfort” for guests seeking both space and amenities. Those amenities include welcome canapés on arrival, priority access to a behind-the-scenes galley tour with tasting, complimentary wash-and-fold laundry, and savings on the onboard boutique, SeaSpa by L’Occitane, and premium Wi-Fi packages. These come in addition to the line’s “Always Included” program, which covers premium wine and spirits, 24-hour room service, Nespresso coffee, L’Occitane bath products, and other in-suite comforts.

The introduction of the Concierge Collection creates a valuable talking point for clients who might be ready to step up from a veranda stateroom but are hesitant to commit to the price of a top-tier suite. The new category offers more square footage and higher-touch service while maintaining the inclusivity that expedition travelers increasingly expect. Atlas is also offering a timely booking incentive: Through Sept. 30, 2025, guests booking an Adventure Ocean Stateroom for Antarctica 2026/2027 voyages will receive a complimentary upgrade to a Concierge Collection Junior Suite in the A1 or A2 category, subject to availability.

In the context of a luxury expedition market where competition is intensifying, the move positions Atlas to capture travelers who value space and amenities but remain price-aware, particularly in regions like Antarctica, where overall trip costs can be significant. By formalizing this mid-tier option, the line gives advisors another lever to pull when matching clients to the right balance of comfort, exclusivity, and value, all factors that can be decisive in closing a sale. Rather than focusing solely on price comparisons, advisors can now highlight the experiential advantages built into the Concierge Collection, reframing the conversation around the return on investment for their clients’ travel dollars.
