Crystal is deepening its integration with sister brand Abercrombie & Kent, introducing By Abercrombie & Kent, a curated portfolio of overland adventures and pre- and post-cruise extensions designed to enhance Crystal Serenity and Crystal Symphony sailings through 2026.

While almost all cruise lines offer shore excursions, this collaboration brings the full weight of A&K’s 60 years of luxury travel expertise—plus its 3,000 staff across 65 offices worldwide—into the cruise context. For advisors, that means being able to position an ocean voyage as the centerpiece of a more complex, high-yield itinerary that can include multi-day inland experiences without the logistical friction of independent planning.

The overland programs allow guests to disembark mid-voyage and rejoin at a later port, ideal for clients who want bucket-list experiences like visiting the Great Wall of China, exploring Angkor Wat’s temple complex, or standing before Uluru at sunrise. Private charter flights, handpicked luxury accommodations, and A&K’s on-the-ground expertise mean seamless transitions between ship and land. Meanwhile, pre- and post-cruise extensions open additional selling opportunities, with options ranging from truffle hunting and private winery dinners in Tuscany to safari drives in the Masai Mara.

By A&K is designed to offer multiple entry points for different client types: first-time luxury cruisers wanting to maximize a once-in-a-lifetime trip, seasoned travelers seeking a new angle on ports they’ve visited before, and multi-generational groups where some members may prefer a land component while others remain onboard. Because these itineraries are exclusive to Crystal, advisors gain a differentiator against competitors selling more standardized cruise-and-land combinations. The premium nature of the product also allows for higher commission potential and the ability to bundle air, insurance, and private transfers into one comprehensive booking.

The launch follows Crystal’s 2022 acquisition by A&K Travel Group and the reimagining of both vessels with larger suites, artisanal finishes, and near one-to-one guest-to-crew ratios. It also aligns with Crystal’s other brand partnerships, like the Casino de Monte-Carlo at sea and Nobu’s Umi Uma restaurant.
