Explora Journeys is adding a major milestone to its young timeline: a full world journey. The line has announced Endless Worlds, a 128-day circumnavigation aboard Explora I that departs Dubai on January 6, 2029, and wraps in Barcelona on May 14.
Rather than opting for a traditional world cruise structure, the company is dividing the trip up into seven “Passages,” each designed to function as a standalone voyage. Together, they form an uninterrupted route across four continents, 29 countries and territories, and 63 destinations. The east-to-west arc leans heavily into heritage trade routes and slower travel, including some longer stays woven through the itinerary.
The opening stretch winds from the Gulf across India and the Maldives before landing in Southeast Asia, then pushes toward Bali and Komodo. From there, the ship charts new territory for the brand: Australia and New Zealand. Explora I will make extended calls in Sydney, Cairns, Airlie Beach, Brisbane, and Melbourne, plus stops in Tasmania and a sweep through New Zealand’s fjordlands.

The middle chapters turn into a true Pacific crossing with a run of far-flung islands—Fiji, Tonga, the Cooks, French Polynesia, and Easter Island—before the ship heads for the Panama Canal. Once in the Americas, the route focuses on ports in Peru and Chile, then continues east toward Atlantic outposts including Bermuda and the Azores.
On board, the brand is using the long voyage to showcase its “Ocean State of Mind” approach in full: ocean-front suites with terraces, five pools, expansive decks, and a culinary program drawn from its six restaurants. The line is also planning evolving entertainment, visiting experts, and a slate of region-specific programming that will change as the ship moves across oceans.
Endless Worlds is also being positioned as a test of the line’s long-range operational model. With new builds arriving almost yearly through 2028, longer itineraries—and broader geographic coverage—will likely become a larger part of the portfolio.
Registration for the 2029 sailing opens in early 2026.
