After 14 years with Oceania Cruises, senior vice president of global sales Nikki Upshaw has stepping down.

Upshaw’s resignation was announced by Frank A. Del Rio, president of Oceania Cruises, in an email to travel advisors this week.

According to Del Rio, Upshaw stepped down to “pursue her personal passions and priorities.”

No successor has yet been named, and the sales team will report to Del Rio for the time being.

“Nikki’s amazing career in the travel industry spans nearly four decades, and she has been a tireless champion of travel and travel advisors. Nikki leaves us with some of the strongest and most vibrant relationships in the industry,” Del Rio wrote.

Upshaw’s departure follows on the heels of a leadership restructuring at both Oceania Cruises and Regent Seven Seas Cruises, which saw the departure of Andrea DeMarco from RSSC and the appointment of Jason Montague as Chief Luxury Officer, overseeing both Oceania and RSSC.
