Seabourn has announced a 120-day world cruise scheduled for 2028, marking one of its longest and most logistically complex itineraries. The “Cape to Cape” voyage will depart Miami on Jan. 7, 2028, aboard Seabourn Quest, spanning more than 26,000 nautical miles across five continents before concluding in Dover, England.

The sailing coincides with the start of Seabourn’s 40th anniversary year and includes a route that links Cape Horn in South America with the Cape of Good Hope in South Africa. Over four months, the ship will call on more than 50 destinations, including Antarctica, Easter Island, the Falkland Islands, the Chilean Fjords, and multiple South Atlantic and South Pacific locations. A Panama Canal transit is also confirmed, referencing Seabourn’s earliest itineraries.

For the first time on a Seabourn world cruise, the itinerary also incorporates complimentary expedition-style experiences. These will be supported by an expanded 18-person expedition team and offered in select regions, including Antarctica and the Chilean Fjords. Activities include Zodiac cruising and guided hikes, with kayaking available as an optional excursion in specific locations.

“As we celebrate 40 years of luxury, small-ship cruising, the 2028 Cape to Cape World Cruise showcases how luxury meets exploration at Seabourn: reaching off-the-beaten-path destinations while offering the ease, comfort, and warmth our guests cherish,” said Mark Tamis, president of Seabourn. “This voyage pairs rare expedition-style experiences with the thoughtful hospitality that defines sailing with Seabourn.”

The itinerary also includes multiple maiden calls for Seabourn’s ocean fleet, with confirmed stops such as Robinson Crusoe Island and Santa Clara Island in the South Pacific, Nightingale Island in the South Atlantic, and Garibaldi Glacier in Chile. In total, more than 38 UNESCO World Heritage Sites are incorporated into the route.

Guests may choose between two voyage lengths: the whole 120-day journey from Miami to Dover, or a 112-day option with disembarkation in Lisbon. Both versions include a multi-day Seabourn Journey to Machu Picchu, round-trip business-class air, a pre-cruise hotel stay in Miami, upgraded Starlink-powered Wi-Fi, unlimited laundry services, and tiered shipboard credit based on suite category.

Bookings made before Jan. 30, 2026, qualify for Seabourn’s Early Booking Advantage, offering savings of up to 10 percent under select terms.

The Seabourn Quest sailing is scheduled to open for booking ahead of the 2026 season, with additional operational details expected closer to launch.
