Luxury safari company &Beyond has expanded its footprint with the addition of two new camps in Botswana, creating what the company calls “a seamless seven-night circuit” when conjoined with the brand’s existing camp.

&Beyond Sandibe Under Canvas and &Beyond Nxabega Under Canvas join the newly-refurbished &Beyond Chobe Under Canvas, bringing the brand’s intimacy and sustainability to two new locations in the Okavango Delta.

What’s most exciting about the two new camps is the diversity between them—at Sandibe Under Canvas, sightings of leopard, cheetah, and wild dog are common year-round, while Nxabega is set among the floodplains. Guests at the latter can participate in mokoro excursions and catch-and-release fishing, alongside traditional and walking safaris.

Both camps pose minimal impact to the surrounding landscape, true to &Beyond’s other properties. With just three tents per camp and a maximum of six guests, Sandibe Under Canvas and Nxabega Under Canvas are designed for intimacy, but don’t sacrifice creature comforts; in addition to super king beds, double showers and vanities, and running water, Starlink Wi-Fi is also available, a first for the brand in Botswana.

“Our new Botswana Under Canvas camps celebrate safari in its purest form. They are intimate, low-impact and deeply connected to place, and the experience is raw, personal and deeply immersive,” says Riaan Venter, the Southern Africa regional manager at &Beyond. “Sandibe captures the energy of predator country, while Nxabega reflects the calm of the Delta’s waterways. Together with Chobe, they reveal the full spectrum of Botswana’s wild beauty.”

The main highlight of the two new camps is &Beyond’s ability to now offer guests a full, seven-day circuit of Botswana, taking travelers from Chobe to Sandibe to Nxabega, all in one trip. The Chobe and the Okavango Delta: An Under Canvas Adventure itinerary starts from $4,840 per person for seven nights, offering intimate adventure and a true connection to Botswana’s wilderness.
