Kremi McCabe Named General Manager of The Stafford London
The luxury hospitality veteran joins the independent St. James’s hotel following senior roles with Mandarin Oriental, Jumeirah, and Dorchester Collection.

The Stafford London has appointed Kremi McCabe as general manager, placing the longtime luxury hospitality executive at the helm of the independent hotel as it builds on recent awards and accolades.
McCabe brings more than 30 years of industry experience to the role, with a career spanning hotel operations, commercial strategy and executive leadership. She has worked with several prominent luxury hospitality brands, including Mandarin Oriental, Jumeirah and Dorchester Collection, as well as The Lanesborough in London.
At The Stafford, McCabe will oversee the hotel’s next phase while working with its existing team to maintain the service and guest experience for which the property is known. Her international background and experience managing luxury operations will be particularly relevant as the hotel balances its long history with continued updates to its culinary and hospitality offerings.
Located in St. James’s, The Stafford comprises three interconnected buildings, each with a distinct identity. The Main House occupies former private residences dating to the 17th century, while the Carriage House contains suites set around a private courtyard. The more contemporary Mews Suites offer additional space and privacy. The hotel is also home to the American Bar, a London institution known for its collection of memorabilia donated by guests, and a wine cellar that was used as an air-raid shelter during World War II.
McCabe arrives following a notable period of recognition for the hotel. Travel + Leisure recently named the Stafford the No. 1 hotel in London, and it retained its AA Five Red Stars and received an Afternoon Tea Award of Excellence. It also earned Green Key certification for its sustainability practices.
The hotel’s restaurant, Michael Caines at The Stafford, received its first Michelin star less than a year after opening. Led by chef Michael Caines, the restaurant serves modern British cuisine informed by his classical training and use of seasonal ingredients.
