Four Seasons Hotel Madrid has appointed Patrick Pollak as its regional vice-president and general manager, bringing nearly 30 years of experience with the brand to the role.
Pollak will oversee both the hotel’s day-to-day operations and its regional positioning, taking on leadership at a property that opened in 2020 as part of a large-scale restoration of several historic buildings in the city center.
Born in Mexico City to French parents, Pollak studied hospitality management at Institut Paul Bocuse in Lyon before joining Four Seasons in 1996 as a bar manager at the brand’s Mexico City property. From there, his career developed primarily through food and beverage leadership roles before expanding into broader operational positions.
Over the years, Pollak has held senior roles across multiple markets, including resort and urban properties in Punta Mita, Dallas, and Hualalai. In 2017, he was named general manager of Four Seasons Hotel Guangzhou, later moving on to lead the brand’s flagship in Toronto.
“Every Four Seasons hotel is unique,” Pollak said. “But what they all have in common is a deep sense of belonging and pride. My goal is to strengthen that connection with the team, with our guests and with the city.”
The Madrid property is in a prime position near Puerta del Sol and Barrio de las Letras, with direct access to the city center. Its scale and mixed-use design have made it a focal point for both international visitors and local clientele, particularly across its dining and wellness offerings.
“I am enormously proud to form part of the team at Four Seasons Madrid. I accept the responsibility to continue positioning and building on everything the team has already done over the last five years,” he added.
