Four Seasons Resort Palm Beach has appointed Mark Bingle as general manager, bringing nearly three decades of experience with the brand to the oceanfront property on Florida’s Palm Beach Island.
Bingle joined Four Seasons in 1996 as a front desk agent at the Beverly Wilshire, a Four Seasons Hotel in Los Angeles. Over the years, his career has taken him across multiple regions, including postings in Eastern Europe, South America, and the United States. In 2016, he was named general manager of two Four Seasons properties in Bogotá, overseeing both hotels in Colombia’s capital.
“Mark’s leadership reflects the culture of care and commitment to excellence that defines Four Seasons,” the company said in announcing the appointment.
Four Seasons Resort Palm Beach opened in 1994 and remains the only Forbes Five-Star, AAA Five Diamond property in Palm Beach. The resort has also received two Michelin Keys in each of the program’s first two years, placing it among a small group of recognized properties in Florida. The four-story resort sits directly on the Atlantic Ocean along a private stretch of Palm Beach Island and includes 207 accommodations, made up of 193 guest rooms and 14 suites.
The property’s design emphasizes a coastal residential style tied to its oceanfront setting, with architecture by Leo Daly, interiors by Martin Brudnizki, and spa design by Brian Gluckstein. The aesthetic leans into natural materials and soft colors, drawing on the relaxed yet polished character long associated with Palm Beach.
Dining at the resort includes Florie’s by Mauro Colagrecco, the U.S. restaurant partnership with the chef behind the three-Michelin-starred Mirazur in Menton, France. The Mediterranean-inspired restaurant centers on live-fire cooking and seasonal ingredients. The property also operates Seaway, an ocean-view seafood restaurant shaded by sea grape trees, as well as Florie’s Bar and oceanfront cabana dining experiences.
The resort’s 10-room spa offers treatments from brands including 111SKIN, Biologique Recherche, Voya, and Davines, with facilities such as an eucalyptus steam room, a saltwater whirlpool, and a couples suite with a private steam shower. Recreational amenities include two pools—one adults-only, a Har-Tru tennis court operated by Peter Burwash International, a 6,000-square-foot fitness center, and a range of beach and water activities.
Located a short drive from Worth Avenue’s shopping district and within reach of Wellington’s equestrian venues, the resort also serves as the official host hotel for the Palm Beach Food & Wine Festival.
