Hemingways Nairobi has joined Leading Hotels of the World (LHW), becoming the luxury hotel collection’s first and only member property in Kenya. Located in Kenya’s capital, Hemingways Nairobi is part of the Hemingways Collection, a luxury hospitality group operating five-star boutique hotels and safari camps across Kenya and East Africa.
The property is known for its spacious suites, personalized butler service, and emphasis on Kenyan hospitality. Membership in LHW places the all-suite boutique hotel within a global network of more than 450 independent luxury hotels across more than 80 countries, expanding its international visibility and reach among luxury travelers and travel advisors while allowing it to maintain its independent identity.
“Joining the Leading Hotels of the World is an important milestone for Hemingways Nairobi and for Kenyan hospitality,” said Ross Evans, CEO of Hemingways Group. “It gives us a stronger international platform while allowing us to remain true to the independent spirit, thoughtful service, and warm Kenyan character that define the Hemingways experience.”
Dean Bannon, LHW’s vice president of member success and development, pointed to the hotel’s all-suite accommodations, personalized service, and strong connection to Kenyan culture as qualities that align with the collection’s focus on independent luxury hospitality.
The affiliation also strengthens the Hemingways Collection’s international positioning as the hospitality group continues to emphasize personalized service, local heritage and conservation across its portfolio.
