Small Luxury Hotels of the World has named ROH as its preferred payments platform, a move intended to streamline backend operations for its global portfolio of more than 620 independently owned properties. The partnership, announced July 30, introduces ROH’s automated payments platform as the preferred option for SLH’s global network, enhancing financial efficiency, freeing up staff time, and enabling hoteliers to focus on revenue-driving activities.

Already in use at the WestHouse Hotel New York, ROH’s platform is designed to automate the manual workflows that typically slow down payments for group bookings, corporate clients, and consortia partnerships. The platform enhances cross-team visibility and reconciliation, replacing legacy processes that have long been a pain point for independent hotels operating without the financial infrastructure of large chains.

“ROH’s platform is a great solution that significantly boosts our hoteliers’ efficiency,” said Richard Hyde, the chief operating officer at Small Luxury Hotels of the World. “We’re always looking for ways to simplify each touchpoint for our hotels.”

For travel advisors working with the group, the shift may yield faster confirmations, clearer invoicing, and fewer delays in custom booking workflows, especially for FITs, incentive groups, or corporate contracts that fall outside traditional GDS pipelines. While not client-facing, the operational gains could also meaningfully improve hotel responsiveness and service delivery.

ROH is rapidly gaining traction with other top-tier hospitality groups, including Auberge Resorts Collection, Loews Hotels, and Noble House Hotels & Resorts. In addition to payment automation, the platform gives hotels real-time data and revenue insights that can support smarter rate strategies and more efficient commission tracking.

ROH’s backing from major investors and its growing client roster suggest it’s likely to remain a key player in the evolving financial infrastructure of high-end travel. For advisors, that means smoother collaboration with SLH properties—and, ideally, more time spent crafting standout guest experiences.
