St. Regis will officially enter the London market this fall with the opening of the St. Regis London, a landmark luxury hotel in Mayfair occupying the former Westbury Hotel site at the corner of Bond and Conduit Streets.
The debut is a significant addition to Marriott’s luxury portfolio in one of Europe’s most competitive hotel markets. Following a comprehensive renovation, the property will feature 193 guestrooms, including 66 suites, as well as expanded public spaces and new wellness facilities.
Designed by Richmond International, the hotel draws inspiration from the neighborhood’s ties to Savile Row tailoring, Bond Street luxury houses, and the area’s long-standing cultural institutions. Accommodations range from guestrooms to expansive suites, including a Penthouse Suite featuring a 150-square-meter private terrace and panoramic views across London.
Food and beverage will play a central role in the property’s positioning. The hotel will launch with Le Perroquet, an all-day French brasserie led by chef Daniel Rose, whose portfolio includes Paris favorite La Bourse et La Vie and New York’s Michelin-starred Le Coucou. (The restaurant will be Rose’s first venture in London.
Art is another major focus. Through a partnership with the Sarabande Foundation, established by the late Lee Alexander McQueen, the hotel will house more than 1,000 artworks from over 80 artists throughout guestrooms, suites, and public areas. The foundation’s House of Bandits gallery will curate the collection, with several site-specific commissions created exclusively for the property.
The opening also brings one of the luxury sector’s most recognizable service traditions to London, as every guest will have access to St. Regis butler service, the brand’s signature offering that traces its roots back to the original St. Regis New York, founded by John Jacob Astor IV in 1904.
For Marriott, the opening strengthens its luxury presence in central London while giving St. Regis a flagship address in one of the world’s most important luxury travel and retail districts. The hotel is expected to attract both international leisure travelers seeking a residential-style Mayfair experience and loyal St. Regis guests looking for a new London option within the brand’s global portfolio.
