The St. Regis Singapore has completed an extensive, multi-phase renovation, finalizing a property-wide refresh that spans all accommodations, multiple dining venues, and its principal event spaces. The updates are now entirely in place at the 299-room hotel, located at the junction of Orchard Road and the Singapore Botanic Gardens.
All guestrooms and suites have been redesigned by FBEYE International, drawing visual cues from the nearby UNESCO-listed Singapore Botanic Gardens. The overhaul covers the hotel’s entire room inventory, introducing updated furnishings, refreshed layouts, and sustainability-focused operational features, including motion-activated LED lighting and in-room potable water taps.

The renovation’s completion also brings three new dining and bar concepts to the property. Sophia, an Italian restaurant led by chef de cuisine Angelo Sergio, anchors the culinary additions with a regional Italian menu supported by an Italian-focused wine list. The St. Regis Bar has been reimagined with a new cocktail program that references both New York and Singapore, while the Tea Room introduces a redesigned setting for the brand’s afternoon tea service, along with an adjacent patisserie offering takeaway pastries, cakes, and locally sourced coffee and tea.
Public and event spaces were also part of the final renovation phase. The John Jacob Ballroom has been fully redesigned, creating a 7,638-square-foot, pillarless venue illuminated by two skylights. The ballroom now features updated lighting and sound systems, dual LED walls, and a redesigned pre-function area. Five additional meeting rooms on level one have been refurbished to support smaller-scale events, with flexible pre-function space configured for coffee breaks and receptions.

“This marks a new era for The St. Regis Singapore—one that continues to honor our brand’s legacy while embracing modern sophistication,” said Nick Heath, the hotel’s general manager. “From our reimagined guest rooms and celebrated culinary destinations to our redesigned event spaces, every element has been thoughtfully curated to reinvigorate the brand’s spirit of innovation while upholding its timeless rituals and legendary bespoke butler service.”
The current renovation builds on earlier property developments, including the debut of Caroline’s Mansion, a standalone event venue introduced in 2019.
