First in Service Travel has formally launched its operations in Latin America, opening a new regional headquarters in Mexico City and appointing travel industry leader Nancy Mendoza as general manager for the region. It’s a major milestone as the company expands its presence in Latin America and abroad.
Mendoza, who is based in Mexico City, will oversee advisor relations across Latin America and drive F1S’s strategic growth throughout the region. Joining her on the LATAM leadership team is Lorena Barraza, newly appointed manager of partnerships, who will oversee supplier relationships across the region.
“We are thrilled to formally plant the F1S flag in Mexico,” said Fernando Gonzalez, CEO and co-founder of First in Service. “Nancy Mendoza and Lorena Barraza bring not only a deep understanding of the Latin American travel market but also a proven commitment to empowering advisors. Their experience and passion align perfectly with our vision to develop a connected, collaborative, and fiercely independent network.”
Though the Latin America launch was only just made official, F1S has been quietly building momentum behind the scenes. Fifteen luxury leisure advisors in Mexico have already joined the network, along with advisors in Colombia, Peru, and Uruguay. Company leadership points to F1S’s entrepreneurial culture and “family feel” as a major draw for top-tier talent across the region.
Mendoza brings more than a decade of experience in luxury leisure travel. A marketing graduate of Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara, she previously held leadership roles at Felgueres Travel Group and most recently served as New Business & Industry Relations Manager at NUBA. Her background includes managing relationships with luxury suppliers, onboarding new advisors, and leading commercial and operational strategy.
“I’m excited to return to a company that feels like home,” Mendoza said. “We’re creating something special for advisors and clients alike.”
The Mexico City office will serve as the hub for F1S’s LATAM division and operate under the company’s 1GN (“One Global Network”) philosophy. The initial focus will be on luxury leisure travel, leveraging the brand’s deep supplier relationships and global infrastructure.
F1S was founded in 1991 and today has offices across North America and Europe. For more information or to inquire about joining, advisors can contact management@f1s.com.
