Rosewood Hotels & Resorts is making its long-anticipated Dubai debut in 2029 with a flagship dual offering—Rosewood Dubai and Rosewood Residences Dubai—set within the new Peninsula Dubai development on Jumeirah Beach. It marks the brand’s first foray into the emirate, pairing a 195-room hotel and eight private villas with 63 branded residences.

Owned by Bright Start and developed by H&H, the nearly 640,000-square-foot project will deliver more than just ultra-luxury accommodations. The hotel will feature four dining concepts, a beach club, wellness center, and immersive programming in art, music, and cuisine, designed to foster meaningful guest engagement—a reflection of Rosewood’s “A Sense of Place” philosophy. For families, the dedicated Explorers Club offers multi-gen approach that won’t compromise on refinement.

Adjacent to the hotel, the branded residential tower will offer 63 apartments and five VIP beachfront villas, with perks including a private cinema, library, movement studio, and 24-hour concierge. Notably, this is Rosewood’s first residential product in the UAE, a growing category for high-net-worth buyers seeking both investment and lifestyle appeal.

The location is key: Peninsula Dubai is a new luxury waterfront hub taking shape along Jumeirah Beach, in proximity to Downtown Dubai and Dubai International Financial Centre, yet designed with a quieter, more refined beachfront living experience.

Rosewood’s entry comes at a time when Dubai’s high-end hospitality scene is entering its next phase. According to Dubai Tourism, the emirate welcomed more than 17 million international overnight visitors in 2024—a post-pandemic record—with luxury travelers driving the rebound in ADR and length of stay. Several marquee brands are expanding their presence in the city, including Baccarat, set to open a hotel and residences in Downtown Dubai in 2027, and Aman, which is developing a beachfront property on Jumeirah Beach. While many of these brands compete on spectacle—towering architecture, mega-scale amenities, and ultra-exclusive experiences—Rosewood’s pitch is intimacy and discovery. With its first Middle East property already operating in Abu Dhabi, recently opened Rosewood Doha, forthcoming Rosewood Riyadh, the Dubai opening continues Rosewood’s regional expansion and underscores Dubai’s growing appeal as a home, not just a stopover, for global luxury travelers.
