Cunard to Refresh Queen Victoria With New Suites, Wellness Café, and Redesigned Public Spaces
The 2,000-guest ship will emerge from a three-week dry dock this November with updated accommodations and signature venues.

Cunard is giving Queen Victoria a significant refresh this fall, with plans for a three-week dry dock that will introduce updated public spaces, enhanced accommodations, and new wellness-focused dining ahead of the ship’s 2027 sailing season.
The 2,000-guest vessel will enter Damen Shiprepair in Rotterdam from Oct. 17 through Nov. 5, 2026, returning to service on Nov. 7. The refurbishment touches several of the ship’s best-known spaces, including a redesigned Grand Lobby and a reimagined Queens Room, the elegant venue that hosts Cunard’s signature Afternoon Tea, live music and Gala Evenings.
The line is also updating its premium accommodations. Queens Grill and Princess Grill suites will receive refreshed furnishings and new design details to enhance the onboard experience for Cunard’s top-tier guests. In addition, the ship will gain eight new Britannia staterooms, including a new Britannia Deluxe Oceanview category featuring floor-to-ceiling windows. The new accommodations go on sale July 20 for voyages departing from Nov. 11, 2026 onward.
Wellness is another focus of the project. Following its debut aboard Queen Anne in 2024 and expansion to Queen Elizabeth in 2025, The Pavilion Wellness Café will make its Queen Victoria debut during the refit. The venue serves breakfast, lunch, and daytime fare centered on plant-forward dishes alongside sustainably sourced meat, seafood, and dairy options, reflecting the growing demand for wellness-oriented dining among luxury travelers.

Following the refurbishment, Queen Victoria will continue operating her scheduled voyages before embarking on a 2027 program that includes itineraries throughout the Mediterranean, the Norwegian Fjords, the Canary Islands, and other destinations.
