Oceania Cruises has outlined its 2027 and 2028 European voyages, with a notable addition for travelers considering an off-season trip: the line’s first full winter season in the Mediterranean.
Oceania Allura will operate 17 voyages from November 2027 through March 2028, ranging from nine to 26 days. Sailings between cities including Barcelona, Rome, Athens, and Istanbul will give guests opportunities to explore the region during cooler months, with itineraries spanning major cultural capitals, coastal towns, and islands.
“Europe is one of the most beloved cruise regions, and we are thrilled to offer our guests year-round opportunities to sail with us,” said Jason Montague, Oceania Cruises’ chief luxury officer. “With more ways to explore the continent, from weeklong escapes to longer, unhurried journeys across the seasons, we’re giving guests the freedom to experience Europe entirely on their own terms.”
Among the winter departures is “Warm Winter Wonderland,” a 12-day Athens-to-Barcelona voyage departing December 8, 2027. Calls include Limassol, Rhodes, Heraklion, Valletta and Palma de Mallorca. On January 31, 2028, Allura will depart on “Iconic Art & Architecture,” a nine-day roundtrip voyage from Rome visiting ports including Porto Torres, Tunis, Trapani and Messina.
The broader collection covers Northern Europe, the Mediterranean, the Adriatic, and the Aegean. For wine enthusiasts, Oceania Insignia’s 10-day “Atlantic Wine Trails” sails from Lisbon to London on April 24, 2027, with calls including Oporto, Bilbao and Biarritz, plus an overnight in Bordeaux.
Travelers drawn to northern landscapes can consider Oceania Marina’s 13-day “Glacial Adventure,” departing Copenhagen for Reykjavik on July 26, 2027. The route combines Scandinavian cities with Norwegian fjord destinations, the Faroe Islands and Icelandic coastal ports.
Across the collection, itineraries pair familiar destinations with smaller ports such as Gythion and Skiathos in Greece, Kotor in Montenegro and Taranto in Italy. Selected voyages include overnight or extended stays, allowing more time ashore.
Culinary experiences remain a focus. Small-group excursions and the line’s Culinary Discovery Tours offer opportunities to explore local markets and family-run producers, with chef-led lunches highlighting regional ingredients on selected Adriatic and Ionian tours.
