Silversea Introduces 4 New Suite Categories and Expanded Benefits
The cruise line has reorganized its 17 suite types, with expanded benefits for Residence and Villa guests beginning in 2027.

Silversea has reorganized its 17 suite types into four categories, with new benefits for guests staying in its larger accommodations beginning in 2027.
The new Oceanview, Veranda, Residence, and Villa categories are available to book now across Silversea’s classic and expedition fleets. Enhanced benefits will apply to voyages departing on or after Jan. 1, 2027.
“Guests choose to sail with Silversea time and time again for the intimacy of our ships and the personal attention that comes with it,” said Bert Hernandez, president of Silversea. “Our new suite categories let us build directly on that foundation.”
Oceanview includes Panorama and Vista suites, both with large windows but no private outdoor space. The Veranda category includes Premium Veranda, Deluxe Veranda, Superior Veranda, Classic Veranda, and Veranda suites, all with private balconies.
Residence accommodations—Junior Grand, Signature, Silver, Premium Medallion, and Medallion suites—have separate bedrooms and living areas. Guests in this category will receive priority embarkation on classic voyages, along with earlier access to reservations. Spa appointments will open 210 days before departure, while dining reservations will become available 150 days in advance.
The Villa category includes Silversea’s largest accommodations: Otium, Master, Owner’s, Grand, and Royal suites. Villa guests receive all Residence benefits, plus early suite access and a welcome escort. Those who book airfare through Silversea will also receive a private transfer on classic voyages.
Additional Villa benefits include private consultations with the ship’s chef, sommelier, and spa manager, plus a menu of in-suite experiences. Options range from afternoon tea and chef-selected dining to stargazing with Champagne and caviar. Each Villa also includes a Technogym exercise bag with a yoga mat, resistance bands, and a roller.
At select debarkation ports, Villa guests on classic voyages may remain onboard on the final day, retaining access to dining, beverages, public spaces, and Wi-Fi until the ship’s next departure. On expedition sailings, benefits include flexible Zodiac departures, priority access to a preferred kayaking session and behind-the-scenes time with the expedition team.
All four categories retain Silversea’s standard inclusions, including butler service, 24-hour in-suite dining, Wi-Fi, beverages, gratuities, port fees, and taxes.
