Princess Cruises will return to the Amazon River for the first time since 2014 as part of its newly announced 2028–2029 Americas season, which includes more than 250 departures and a new 64-day voyage around South America.

Now on sale, the program ranges from four-day Pacific Coast getaways to longer sailings exploring Patagonia and Antarctica. The new Circle South America itinerary aboard Coral Princess combines Antarctica, scenic cruising on the Amazon River, a call at Santarém, Brazil, and a transit through the historic Panama Canal locks.

“There is an incredible diversity found across the Americas, and our 2028–2029 season gives guests an extraordinary range of ways to experience it,” said Jim Berra, Princess Cruises’ chief commercial officer.

The South America and Antarctica program includes 13 departures across 11 itineraries aboard Majestic Princess and Coral Princess, visiting 38 destinations in 16 countries. Options include 17-day Antarctica & Patagonia voyages and 15-day Cape Horn & Glaciers of Patagonia sailings. Guests can extend their trips with land programs that visit Peru’s Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu or explore Iguazú Falls from both Brazil and Argentina.

Closer to home, the Caribbean accounts for the largest share of the season, with 141 departures on 49 itineraries lasting five to 17 days. Embarkation ports include Fort Lauderdale, Port Canaveral, San Juan, New York, and Barbados, with select itineraries visiting Celebration Key, Isla Tropicale, RelaxAway, and Half Moon Cay.

Other additions include Princess’ first calls at Îles de la Madeleine in Canada’s Gulf of St. Lawrence and the return of roundtrip Hawaii sailings from Vancouver. The Canada and New England season features 17 departures, while 14 Hawaii departures explore four islands, each with an extended late-night stay in Honolulu.

For travelers seeking more time in port, select itineraries offer overnight stays in Quebec and Cabo San Lucas, along with extended calls in destinations including Buenos Aires, Rio de Janeiro and Lima. The broader program also includes sailings on the Panama Canal, Mexico, and the California Coast.

An early booking bonus, available through Feb. 16, 2027, offers up to $300 in instant savings, up to $300 in onboard credit, $100 deposits, early access to dining reservations and arrival groups, and a complimentary room location upgrade.
