Silversea will introduce a series of onboard upgrades to Silver Spirit beginning this spring, bringing the line’s S.A.L.T. (Sea And Land Taste) culinary program to the ship alongside refreshed public spaces and updated suite categories. The enhancements follow earlier work on Silver Muse.

The updates center on new culinary venues tied to destination-driven programming. Silver Spirit will debut S.A.L.T. Kitchen, a restaurant focused on regionally inspired menus, as well as S.A.L.T. Bar and S.A.L.T. Lab, where guests will participate in small-group cooking classes tied to itinerary ports. The additions bring the ship in line with other vessels on which S.A.L.T. has become a defining onboard concept, connecting dining with local culture rather than with standalone specialty restaurants.

“With each ship’s revitalization, we are thoughtfully reshaping the future of our onboard experience to introduce new concepts, expand our guest favorites, and continue elevating the way our guests experience the world,” said Bert Hernandez, Silversea’s president. “Silver Spirit’s transformation reflects our dedication to creating richer journeys for our guests—giving them more space, more comfort, and a deeper sense of immersion onboard and across every destination.”

Public areas are also being refreshed, including a redesigned Venetian Lounge with a new LED wall, updated furnishings, and upgraded finishes. The pool deck will be reworked to create additional outdoor seating areas, while the Zagara Beauty Spa has received new treatment chairs and beds. A recent update to the fitness center introduced an AI-enabled strength device designed to support individualized workouts at sea.

Accommodation changes include the addition of new Medallion Suites, featuring private verandas, king-size beds, and larger bathroom layouts with separate tubs and showers. The ship, originally launched in 2009 and lengthened in 2018, remains one of the larger vessels in Silversea’s fleet, positioning it for longer itineraries while maintaining an all-suite configuration.

Following its revitalization, Silver Spirit will sail a series of Northern Europe itineraries from late May through early autumn. Routes include voyages between Southampton, Amsterdam, and Copenhagen, with stops in the southern Norwegian fjords, Scotland, and the Channel Sea. Select sailings will coincide with seasonal events such as the Edinburgh Military Tattoo, while a late-summer departure from Southampton to Lisbon focuses on wine regions in France and northern Spain during harvest season.

Later in the year, the ship is scheduled to operate a 50-day Grand Voyage Mediterranean itinerary, departing from Lisbon and calling at 40 destinations across 12 countries, including Istanbul, Dubrovnik, Barcelona, and smaller ports such as Volos and Gythion. The revitalized vessel is expected to enter service with its new features in time for the May 27, 2026 departure from Southampton.
