Luxury Gold has launched sales for its 2027 small-group guided tour collection—and for advisors who field many inquiries about Japan, they’re worth noting.
The brand’s new “Legendary Japan” itinerary is a reimagined 11-day program priced from $9,607 per person. It’s built around access that’s genuinely difficult to replicate independently: a private sushi-making class in Tokyo, a traditional Kyo-Kaiseki lunch in Kyoto accompanied by an apprentice geisha performance, and (most compellingly) a firsthand account from an atomic bomb survivor at Hiroshima’s Peace Memorial Park. The itinerary rounds out with a wine tasting at the foot of Mount Fuji.
Japan has been one of the most searched destinations in luxury travel since the yen began attracting Western travelers in force, and demand shows no signs of cooling. Luxury Gold’s decision to anchor its 2027 launch around this itinerary shows where client interest is pointing, but also gives advisors something concrete to offer clients who have been circling the destination but haven’t committed.

The broader 2027 lineup also includes familiar high performers alongside the Japan launch. The nine-day “Majesty of the Rockies” (from $11,075 per person) pairs Rocky Mountaineer rail travel with Indigenous cultural experiences in Western Canada, making it a strong fit for clients who want an immersive North American experience rather than another European capital circuit.
“Timeless Scandinavia” covers Denmark, Sweden, and Norway over 12 days, starting at $10,240, with fjord itineraries that lean into experiential travel rather than checklist tourism. Italy and South America round out the collection, the latter a substantial 23-day journey across four countries from $19,265, a commitment that will appeal to clients with both the time and the appetite.
As a bonus, a new partnership with Uniworld Boutique River Cruises creates cross-loyalty value for clients who travel with both brands. Past guests of either can access savings of up to $250 per person on 2027 small group tours and up to $500 per person on Cruise & Tour combinations. If you have clients who’ve done a Uniworld river cruise and haven’t yet tried a Luxury Gold land program or vice versa, this is a clean conversation opener.
